    The Oceanside Unified School District will offer several options for students to enroll in kindergarten and transitional kindergarten programs for the 2019-2020 school year. Eleven sites will offer full-day programs; five will provide half-day offerings, while an additional five campuses will be home to the district's new transitional kindergarten classes.  School of Choice options are available for all of these programs.  Click OUSD Kinder for information and how to register. 

    PASS AmeriCorps (Promoting Achievement & Student Success)

    Cultivating Leaders – Empowering Students – Transforming Futures

    PASS AmeriCorps is a mentoring and leadership program that strives to ensure all youth are given the opportunity to reach their fullest potential and become positive leaders on their school campuses and in their community. PASS AmeriCorps mentors serve as positive caring adults and role models on campus, and are trained to provide individual and group mentoring, discussions, academic support, grades and attendance reviews, community service projects, and guest speakers. Students enrolled in PASS AmeriCorps receive meaningful one-on-one mentoring and academic support to help them realize their dreams through academic success, making healthy choices, and developing positive leadership skills.     Dismissal MTThF at 3:35 PM, Kinder at 2:50 PM

    Wednesday dismissal for all 1:05 PM

    Transitional Kindergarten and Preschool 2019-2020

    Placement of Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Preschool students will be done at the Educational Support Services Office for the 2019-2020 school year. 

    Office will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  For questions, please contact Student Services at 760-966-7802.

    Lighthouse FoodsParents can register their children online for the 2019-2020 OUSD school lunch and breakfast programs.  The national program provides meals at a reduced cost; eligible students with an approved free or reduced status may receive meals at no cost.  Click Online Meal Registration to get started.
